llamaThree furry fugitives from a llama farm in Kentucky are safely back home after going on an “all-nighter.”

Scott Thompson of Louisville called the police after finding one of the escapees in his backyard Friday morning, according to local news station WLKY.

“Police were great,” he said. “They chased him in the yard and they were able to keep him there.”

Another of the llamas, named Felicity was found wandering nearby. “”My wife calls down and says, ‘There’s a llama in the yard.’ I say, ‘You’ve got to be kidding me,’” said Garner Traher.

“So I walked out there and walked out to the back and there she was. It was confused. Didn’t know where it was.”

Llama farmer Dale Hill put a harness on the animal and walked it back to the farm where it was reunited with its fellow runaways.

“They had an all-nighter,” he said. Hill said farm staff had found some beer bottles near the barn where the llamas had been kept and suspected somebody had left a gate open.

“I don’t think it was malicious, but I think probably some people decided to have a little party,” he said, adding that the only damage the escape had caused was some trimmed shubbery.
