cattle.smallTwo bulls and 15 cows have been seized by Cambodian authorities after the mating cattle caused traffic chaos and knocked a motorist unconscious.

Officials said that the bulls’ wild pursuit of their mates were to blame for a series of accidents on a busy road near the Cambodian capital Phnom Penh’s international airport. On one occasion one of the roaming animals ran straight into a driver, knocking him out.

“It is the breeding season and the animals were wandering around a public park near the Phnom Penh International Airport, where the road is so busy,” local councillor Khin Sim said.

“It affects the traffic and caused animal anarchy in the eyes of international guests passing through the airport.”

Villagers have been warned their animals will be seized if they are not kept under control.
