What the flock? Cops stop traffic for Mother Goose
A mother goose and her goslings almost brought a US interstate highway to a standstill on Thursday as police shut down two lanes of traffic to escort the family to safety.
Traffic cameras captured the family running along the shoulder of the I-90 in Seattle as cars and lorries zoomed past after concerned commuters raised the alarm.
Police then escorted the geese to the next exit ramp. Washington State Patrol spokeswoman trooper Julie Startup said it took officers about 20 minutes “to get the little guys cleared”.
